Kaitlyn Sage Patterson is an American author who is known for her work in the genres of speculative Young Adult, Fantasy, and Science Fiction. Growing up, Patterson spent much of her time with her nose buried in a book, developing a love for reading and storytelling that would stay with her throughout her life.\n \nPatterson's writing career began in earnest after she completed her Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.). She made the decision to move to South Korea, where she taught English and began work on her debut novel. It was there that she started to bring her unique storytelling vision to life, drawing on her own experiences and imagination to create compelling and engaging stories.
In 2018, Patterson's hard work paid off with the publication of her debut novel, "The Diminished", by HarlequinTEEN. This highly-anticipated release was followed by a sequel in 2019, cementing Patterson's place as a rising star in the world of Young Adult fiction.
When she's not busy writing, Patterson can be found pursuing a variety of other interests. She is an accomplished baker, known for her skills in perfecting the art of the macaron. She is also an avid horseback rider and trainer, specializing in dressage horses. And, when she's not riding or baking, she can be found spending time with her husband and their sweet rescue dogs.
