Katherine Bolger Hyde

Katherine Bolger Hyde is an American mystery writer, best known for her Crime with the Classics traditional mystery series. She was born in New York City, but currently resides in California. Hyde has lived in various places throughout the United States, which has given her a unique perspective and insight that she incorporates into her writing. Despite her nominal connection to the famous Ray Bolger, Hyde assures that there is no familial relationship between them.

Hyde's love for literature began at a young age and continued to grow throughout her life. She taught herself to read at the age of four and has been an avid reader ever since. Her passion for the written word led her to pursue a degree in Russian literature, which allowed her to gain a fresh perspective on the art form. Throughout her life, Hyde has been fascinated by different writing styles and techniques, constantly seeking to expand her knowledge and improve her craft.

In addition to her Crime with the Classics series, Hyde is also the author of several children's books. She is a lifelong lover of literature and alliteration, which is evident in her writing. Hyde currently works as the editorial director for Ancient Faith Publishing. When she is not writing, editing, or reading, Hyde enjoys singing, dancing, knitting, and designing her dream house. She currently resides in Santa Cruz County, California, with her husband, youngest child, and two obstreperous cats.
