Kristin Cast

Kristin Cast is an American author, born on an Air Force base in Japan and raised in Oklahoma. She grew up exploring various interests, from tattoo modeling to broadcast journalism. However, it was her passion for storytelling that truly stood out. After facing addiction, Cast found her way to the Pacific Northwest, where she rediscovered her love for writing. She has since become a prominent figure in the literary world, with numerous accomplishments to her name.

Cast is best known for her collaborative work with her mother, P.C. Cast, on the House of Night series. This young adult fantasy series has gained significant recognition, earning a spot on the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists. Together, they have published over twenty books in this popular series. In addition to her work on the House of Night series, Cast is also focusing on her own standalone novel.

Alongside her achievements in literature, Cast is a vegan and enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle. She loves traveling, watching trash television, and going to the movies. Cast and her mother often go to the gym together, though they don't necessarily consider it a hobby. Having lived in Oklahoma for over 30 years, Cast now resides in Portland, where she continues to write and share her stories with the world.
