Leif G.W. Persson

Leif Gustav Willy Persson, more commonly known as Leif GW Persson, is a renowned Swedish novelist and criminologist. Born on March 12, 1945, in Stockholm, Sweden, Persson established himself as a notable criminologist early in his career. He became a professor of criminology at the Swedish National Police Board, a position he held for over 15 years, from 1992 to 2008.

In addition to his work as a leading criminologist, Persson is also a celebrated author. He is best known for his crime fiction novels, which are primarily based on the mystery and thriller genres.
