Maika Moulite

Maika Moulite is an American author of young adult (YA) novels, who often collaborates with her sister, Maritza Moulite. Born and raised in Miami, Maika is the daughter of Haitian immigrants and takes pride in her heritage. She has a strong educational background, holding a bachelor's degree in marketing from Florida State University and an MBA from the University of Miami. Currently, Maika is pursuing her PhD in Howard University's Communication, Culture and Media Studies program.

In her professional life, Maika utilizes her expertise in digital and social marketing to assist nonprofits and major organizations in sharing their stories online. When she's not working or studying, Maika indulges in her passion for writing. She is an avid reader, particularly fond of young adult novels and strong female leads. As the eldest of four sisters, Maika serves as a role model and mentor for her siblings.

Maika and her sister Maritza are both bloggers for the Daily Ellement, a lifestyle website offering inspirational and diverse career guidance for women. In their writing, they draw from their personal experiences and interests. Maika's admiration for strong female protagonists is evident in her work, while Maritza's appreciation for influential figures like Michelle Obama shines through as well.
