Melissa Brayden is a highly accomplished author, best known for her work in the genre of lesbian romance novels. She has written more than twenty-two sapphic romance novels, including the Soho Loft series, and has won multiple awards for her work. Brayden was born in San Antonio, Texas, and grew up in an Air Force family, which included living in England on an American Air Force base for a time. She is the youngest of three sisters, with her middle sister being six years older and her eldest sister being eight years older.
In addition to her writing, Brayden is also a theater director and is currently employed full-time at the performing arts center of one of the largest high schools in Texas. She is currently working on her MFA in directing from Texas State University, after having earned her Bachelor's degree in speech communication and film production from Baylor University ten years prior. Brayden is a wine enthusiast and a fan of all donuts, and she enjoys spending time with her family, her Jack Russell Terriers, and checking out the NYC theater scene as often as possible.
Brayden is also a big fan of coffee and enjoys spending time with her dog. In her free time, she likes to check out the theatres in New York City several times per year and plays tennis when the weather permits. She reluctantly uses the treadmill, but enjoys it more when she can be outside running. Brayden is married and is currently working hard at remembering to do the dishes. She considers herself a reluctant patron of spin class, but would much rather be sipping wine and staring off into space. Kissing scenes remain her favorite. She can be found at melissabrayden.com and on most social media sites.
