Michele Campbell

Michèle Campbell is a successful American author, best known for her popular debut novel, "It's Always the Husband: A Novel". The book was highly acclaimed and named one of the 50 Best Books for the Beach by Coastal Living and one of 20 Must-Read Books for Spring 2017 by Redbook.

Before becoming an author, Campbell had a distinguished career in law. She is a graduate of Harvard College and Stanford Law School and worked as a federal prosecutor in New York City. During her time as a prosecutor, she specialized in international narcotics and gang cases, gaining valuable experience and expertise in the criminal justice system.

After saying goodbye to her big-city legal career, Campbell moved with her husband and two children to a picturesque New England college town, which served as the inspiration for Belle River in "It's Always the Husband". In her new home, she has been able to focus on teaching criminal and constitutional law, as well as writing novels.
