Owen King

Ówen King is an American author, known for his work in comics, humor, and literature. He was born in Bangor, Maine, and is the younger son of authors Tabitha and Stephen King. King's interest in writing began during his high school years and would later lead him to pursue a masters degree in fine arts from Columbia University and Vassar College.

King's debut book, "We're All in This Together," was published in 2005 and received positive reviews from both the Independent and Los Angeles Times. Since then, he has published several works, including the novel "Double Feature," the graphic novel "Intro to Alien Invasion," and the anthology "Who Can Save Us Now," which he co-edited with John McNally. King is also the co-author, along with his father, Stephen King, of the novel "Sleeping Beauties." His writing has been featured in various publications, such as Prairie Schooner, Subtropics, Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet, Ploughshares, and One Story.

King's novel, "The Curator," was published in March 2023. He currently resides in upstate New York with his family. His writing style is known for its sharp wit, humor, and irreverence, and his works often explore themes related to art and cinema. King's "Double Feature" has been praised by authors such as Karen Russell and Lauren Groff, who have described it as a "kinetic, joyful, gonzo ride" and a "moving exploration of what it means to be an artist," respectively.
