Peter Grainger

Peter Grainger is a British author, well-known for his crime fiction novels. One of his most popular series is the DC Smith series, which features a detective as the main character. Grainger has always been an avid reader, but he didn't discover his love for crime fiction until he started watching television shows featuring detectives like Inspector Morse and Jack Frost. These shows inspired him to start reading crime novels, and he eventually began writing his own.

Grainger takes inspiration for his writing from other famous British detectives, such as Inspector Morse. This influence is evident in his DC Smith series, where he brings his own detective to life.
