Peter Helton is a renowned author, born in Germany in 1957. He was raised in an Anglophile and eccentric family, which influenced his writing and worldview. In 1982, Helton moved to London and began his career as a translator for TV and film. However, he was soon drawn to the attractions of the West Country, which became a significant inspiration for his writing.
Helton later pursued a Fine Arts Degree at UWE and has exhibited his work in London, Cornwall, and Bath. Currently, he spends his time divided between his painting studio and writing in the study of a small cottage near Bath. He shares this space with his beloved cat, Asbo, who keeps him company during his creative pursuits.
