Susan May Warren is a successful American author, best known for her series such as Global Search and Rescue, Sky King Ranch, Montana Rescue, and Montana Marshalls. Warren's writing career began in childhood when she won a story contest in the first grade. Her passion for writing continued to grow, and she earned a degree in Mass Communications from the University of Minnesota. Her professional writing experience began with a bi-monthly newsletter called The Warren Report, where she detailed ministry highlights.
Warren grew up in Wayzata, a suburb of Minneapolis, and developed a love for camping and the outdoors at a young age. The north shore of Minnesota holds a special place in her heart, as it is where she met her husband and honeymooned. She and her husband have four children together. Living in Russia as a missionary for eight years provided Warren with a wealth of material for her writing, which she initially used to create devotionals, magazine articles, and her first published story, "Measure of a Man."
According to her "official" bio, Warren has sold nearly 2 million books and is a critically acclaimed novelist, having won the Christy, RITA, and Carol awards. She has written over ninety novels in various genres, including contemporary and historical romances, romantic suspense, thrillers, rom-coms, and Christmas novellas.
