T.I. Wade is a British author, well-known for his action and adventure novels. He was born in Bromley, Kent, England in 1954 and moved to Africa with his family in 1956 due to his father's job promotion with National & Grindleys Bank. Wade spent his formative years in Southern Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe, where he completed his mandatory military commitments at the age of 21.
After his military service, Wade decided to broaden his horizons and moved to Europe, where he lived in England, Germany, and Portugal for 15 years. This period was significant for Wade as it allowed him to immerse himself in different cultures and gain a wealth of experiences. In 1989, he returned to Africa, specifically Cape Town, where he pursued various ventures, including owning and running a restaurant, a coffee manufacturing and retail business, and flying a Cessna 210 around desolate southern Africa. He finally got married in 1992.
Due to the political turmoil in South Africa, Wade and his family of three moved to the United States in 1996, settling in Park City, Utah. It was here that Wade's writing career took off, and he has since written eighteen novels, all of which are action and adventure stories. Wade's rich experiences have enabled him to infuse a sense of vigor and realism into his literary works, making him a popular author in his genre.
