Todd Borg is an American novelist, well-known for his mystery/thriller novels. He is the creator of the Owen McKenna series, which is set in the Lake Tahoe area. Borg was born with a fascination for mystery novels and the great mountain ranges in the upper west. After several vacations in Lake Tahoe, he moved there with his wife, painter Kit Night, in 1990, seeking to ski on actual mountains. The lake's beauty and the surrounding environment inspired him to write about the area, leading to the creation of the Detective Owen McKenna character.
Borg's novels have received numerous accolades, including several outstanding magazine and newspaper reviews.
