Tom Barber is a bestselling author, known for his international political thriller and detective mystery novels. He is the author of the popular "Sam Archer" series, which includes the successful novel "Nine Lives" and several subsequent titles. Barber was born in Sydney, Australia and spent his childhood moving around from England to Brunei. From a young age, he had a love for storytelling and writing, and could often be found with his nose in a novel.
After completing high school, Barber attended Nottingham University in the UK, where he graduated with a Bachelor in English Studies in 2009. After graduation, he pursued his interest in the arts by moving to New York City and enrolling in a 2 year Meisner Acting course at The William Esper Studio. This program included screenwriting and acting, furthering his love for both fields.
Upon returning to the UK in late 2011, Barber began working on his debut novel "Nine Lives," which went on to become a five-star rated Amazon UK Kindle hit. The following books in the "Sam Archer" series have also been successful, receiving five-star reviews in several countries including the US, UK, France, Australia, and Canada. The series has seen over a million books downloaded worldwide and is being adapted into audiobook format. Barber spends most of his time traveling back and forth between the US and the UK.
