Zecharia Sitchin is a highly regarded non-fiction author, best known for his Earth Chronicle series. These books attempt to answer fundamental questions about human existence that have perplexed generations. Sitchin was born in Baku, Azerbaijan, and raised in Palestine, where he acquired knowledge of modern and ancient Hebrew, other Semitic and European languages, the Torah, and the history and archaeology of the Near East. His ability to read and interpret ancient Sumerian and Akkadian clay tablets set him apart as one of a select few scholars with such expertise.
Sitchin studied economic history at the London School of Economics, University of London. After graduation, he worked as a journalist and editor in Israel for many years. His books have gained international acclaim, having been translated into more than twenty languages and featured on radio and television. They have also been converted to braille for the blind, highlighting the reach and importance of his work. Sitchin's unique perspective and ability to read ancient texts have allowed him to combine archaeology, ancient texts, and the Bible with the latest scientific discoveries, offering a fresh perspective on human history and prehistory. He currently resides in New York, where he continues to write and research.
